Motorised Recessed Trap Door

Specifications

This door is recessed to accommodate timber, ceramic or natural stone tiles up to 12mm thick with a motorised door opening mechanism. The frame is fabricated in stainless steel.

Lifting mechanism: Motorised strut arm, .240V volts. Supplied with switch transformer which is installed outside of the cellar.

A manual Gas Strut arm is also fitted in case of motor or power failure. In case of motor or power failure, there are two screws in the top of the door (ensure to keep these accessible once tiles have been fitted). These should be unscrewed, and the motorised arm is released from the door. The door will open slightly, and can be lifted with the assistance from the gas strut arm.
