The new Garden Cellar is a great solution for wine lovers who have perhaps already undergone a refurbishment or building works in their home and would rather not take up their flooring, but is also a great addition to the growing trend for garden entertaining zones. One of
our clients has already seen the benefits of this simple solution, and chose to have their Garden Cellar discreetly installed alongside their flower beds and garden path.
This Garden Cellar was fully installed by Spiral Cellars’in-house team in under a week, and combines the components of an Original Spiral Cellar at a 2.25m depth with the new waterproof External Trap Door. The cellar was installed within a gravel area and the External Trap Door was simply topped with extra gravel to ensure the door blends into the surrounding area effectively. The design of the door, including a drainage system, means that water is prevented from entering the cellar and so the client’s collection of fine wines is completely safe. The door is operated by a motor. Because the trap door can be walked over the Garden Cellar is completely spacesaving and so is not only a great solution for storing wine, but can also double up as a shed in smaller gardens where space is tight, as garden tools and equipment can easily be stowed.
