The wine trade is extremely excited about this vintage, which has been described as better than 2005 in places and which Jancis Robinson M.W. declared were “thrilling!” wines to taste. The Bordeaux 'En Primeur' tour is on June 21 - 25 2010 and includes days in three of the appellations giving an insight into the differences of qualities and flavours as well as staying in a private wine Chateau in Marguax and enjoying top dining experiences as guests of some of the most prestigious and beautiful chateaux in Bordeaux.

The splendid Bordeaux 'First Growths' wine tour takes place in the wonderful setting of 2ème Cru Classé Château Pichon Longueville - our privileged base for this special tour. This is not a hotel, nor is it open to the general public, so we are truly honoured to be able to extend this invitation to you. The tour takes place on 15 - 19 November and will be a week to remember as you are expertly guided by James Lawther MW, a well respected local wine correspondent, starting in the Paulliac commune with Latour and Lafite-Rothschild. We will continue throughout the tour to visit every other First Growth Chateau as well as being treated to gourmet lunches and dinners including a ** Michelin rosette in St. Emilion.
