The Next Steps
• Please contact as early as possible in the design stage of the project. If you are able to send drawings in pdf format (detailed plans, elevations and site plans) showing a north point and key dimensions to info@spiralcellars.com. Please also annotate the ideal cellar location. We will review these plans and advise if the proposed cellar location is suitable.
• Once you have advised us of the cellar type required (Original or White, depth, and trap door) we will prepare a quotation.
• To place an order we will require a 10% deposit. If timings have been agreed, we will book the installation into our schedule (please note that we generally work to a 12 week lead time).
• We will then prepare the structural calculations package. This determines the excavation depth and contains the information required for the Building Regulations Application. These will either be forwarded onto the person responsible for submitting the master application or we will handle it on your behalf.
• The steel hole protection rings can be shipped to site ready for the hole excavation, along with the structural calculations package containing the excavation dimensions.
• Once the hole is dug, our Project Manager will visit site to confirm the site and excavation are ready for our team’s arrival.
• Our team will arrive at the site on the agreed date, remove the hole cover and fit the cellar.
