British Wines’ Rise: Matching Scotch Whisky’s Legacy?

We thought the report from the BBC that the Scotch whisky industry is worth £5bn to the UK economy was pretty interesting.  That’s a lot of Scotch produced and sold: whether it’s enjoyed here or abroad, it’s something for the UK drinks industry to be proud of.  But can the British winemaking industry compete?  With its popularity on the up year-on-year we can only hope!
